Qada Mubram wa Qada Mu'allaq

From Ahsanul wī-a' lī-adābid-Du'ā, Pg 148 - 149,

There are two types of Qada - Mubram and Mu'allaq. The command of Allāh Almighty which is known as Qada [fate of destiny], it is of two types Qada Mubram [inevitable fate] and Qada Mu'allaq [pending or suspended fate]. Qada Mubram does not change and takes place as Divinely ordained. Qada Mu'allaq takes place or is lifted off due to Sadaqah [charity] and Du'ā's, etc.

The explanation of Mubram is understood by the following Hadīth Sharīf:

Whatever the pen has written will never change.

And Mu'allaq is understood by the following Qur'ānic verse:

And no one whose is lengthened has life extended or the age of whoso is curtailed [can extend it]. All this is in a Book. Surely it is easy for Allāh Almighty.[1]
