Sayyidunā Anas rađiyAllāhu ánhu narrates that the Holy Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam said, 'Whoever, in the sacred months, fasts for 3 days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), will receive virtues of 2 years of worship.'[1]
Dear Islamic Brothers! By sacred months, it is meant the same four months i.e. Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijja, Muharram and Rajab. If you keep these three fasts in any of the four sacred months, Insha’Allah you will receive the virtues of 2 years of worship.
